Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

 

Novelty – how is the design unique or innovative compared to other designs in the same category?

 

Benefit to user – how will this innovation benefit the intended user through its performance, comfort, safety, ease of use and cost / affordability?

 

Benefit to the society

 

Commercialization – innovation meet the client’s need? Is it an added value?

 

Scientific value of the invention or innovation.

 

Others: publication, recognition, award, intellectual property
